No, you cannot get into Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology with a GUJCET rank of 70000 if you belong to the General AI category. This category had an overall cutoff ranging from 9761 to 50268. Hence, if you want to be enrolled in this institute, a rank of at least 50268 is required for this category.
Considering the last round cutoff for other HS categories, a rank of 70000 would still not make you eligible for admission. To know the category-specific ranks, students can visit Shiksha's official cutoff page for this institute.

Your 80% performance in CBSE meets the LPU B.Tech CSE requirements because the minimum entrance score for 10+2 with Physics Mathematics and English plus an entrance exam like LPUNEST or JEE Main is 60%. For 2026, LPU is a reasonable choice for CSE if you want a large campus, industry-linked labs, and strong placement opportunities, and your board score should help you in admission and scholarships.

Yes, an online Computer Science programme carries the same academic value and repuatation as the one delivered on-campus. The degree, diploma, and transcripts show no difference between the two formats.
The experience is different for both. The on-campus programme allows for more in-person networking and faculty interaction. The online programme is better for working professionals short on time.
