EFLU Hyderabad offers admission to various UG and PG level courses in the basis of merit and CUET UG and CUET PG scores. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 to qualify for courses at the UG level. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50-55% in graduation along with securing valid scores in CUET PG.

For majority of courses such as BA (Hons), MA and others, candidates must meet the cutoff score of rank in CUET UG and PG.

English and Foreign Languages University selects candidates for BA (Hons) based on CUET-UG score.  CUET UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA. Selected candidates are further required to participate in CUET-UG Counselling. Besides, aspirants need to pass Class 12 in any stream with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ Differently-abled categories) to apply for BA (Hons) admission.

For CUET-PG, the application forms are usually released in December. Besides, candidates applying for PG Diploma and PhD courses can apply starting from December.
