NET exam is not necessary for PhD degree admission. NET exam is for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the eligibility for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges.

You know both your strengths and weaknesses to crack IIM. Maintain edge of your strengths and draw a plan to overcome your weaknesses. If you have a good plan you will succeed. You may also take help of a coaching Institute to overcome your weaknesses.
