Era University

Era University, formerly known as Era's Lucknow Medical College, is a private medical college in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1997, it is affiliated with Era University since 2016. The college has been recognised as one of the best in the country and is consistently ranked among the top medical colleges in India by various leading survey agencies. It is the country's first medical institute to establish a Department of Personalized and Molecular Medicine and has received prestigious SKOCH awards for its implementation of the government of India's Ayushman Bharat Scheme and its response to COVID-19.

Era University is a private state university established in 2016 by the Era Educational Trust in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is particularly well-known for its courses in medical and allied and paramedical sciences, nursing, pharmacy, basic science, biotechnology, food and nutrition, liberal arts, MHA, and computer application. The university seeks to develop students of distinction through excellence in learning and teaching. Era Lucknow Medical College & Hospital, which is the parent institute of Era University, has received accreditation from the prestigious NABH and a certificate of excellence from QCI.

Era University Placement Cell is a dedicated service which helps employers connect with talented students for internships and permanent jobs. It also provides guidance to students regarding interview preparations.

More than 90% of students get placed every year in full-time jobs, part-time jobs and internships.

The statistics show the highest package of INR 2.4 LPA with an average of INR 1.2 LPA.

The institute also holds various campus drives and placement and internships oriented programmes time to time.

Candidates can join the Era University through the following steps:

1) Enquire online by calling the admission office or offline by meeting the admission counsellors at the campus.

2) Apply to the desired course online after fulfilling all the eligibility and registration requirements at the official website of the university. Candidates can also aplply offline on campus.

3) Appear and pass the screening test and interview held by the institute.

4) Selected candidates are then have to report on campus for submitting required documents.

5) Submit the course fees within the prescribed time period.

Era University has a high placement rate for MBBS students. Almost 70% of the students got placed from Era University and Era Medical College, Lucknow. However, Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital does not offer any guaranteed placements. The university has a dedicated placement cell that helps students find internships, part-time and full-time jobs. Companies like Apollo Hospital visit the campus for placements. According to the placement report for UG courses for 2018-19, 107 out of 124 students got placement offers while 17 opted for higher studies.

According to the current statistics of placement Era University does lead G.C.R.G group of institutions in terms of placement but if all the courses and their respective placements are considered some results might vary.
