Yes, if your FMGE exam application is rejected, you can appear for the exam next year. Because the National Medical Commission (NMC) allows you to try six times even after your application form is rejected for the FMGE exam.

For the NUCAT entrance exam on February 17th for the admission to Nitte Institution Mangalore, the best preparation would be to bring up to date yourself with the 10+2 syllabus as far as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is concerned. Some of the books suggested are Arihant's "Physics for JEE Main and Advanced" at INR 595 and "Chemistry for JEE Main and Advanced" at INR 545 and "Mathematics for JEE Main and Advanced" at INR 645. To be very specific your SNAP percentile rank is 96.9601 while last year's percentile was 96.7699 and hence your chances of getting a call from SCMHRD has improved this year. Basically, they usually send calls to the candidates with the percentiles higher than 97 percentile threshold which is set by SCMHRD. But the real cutoff can be different number depending on the number of students enrolled in it as well as the level of passing the exam. With your new percentile you might get a shot at the GE-PIWAT stage of the SCMHRD admission process which is the next step after clearing this test.
