For the NUCAT entrance exam on February 17th for the admission to Nitte Institution Mangalore, the best preparation would be to bring up to date yourself with the 10+2 syllabus as far as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is concerned. Practicing continuously on online tests and solving problems of last year's papers build up the speed and helps gain accuracy really well .
General Ability Test (GAT):

English: Develop comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar. Grammar books by Wren & Martin and vocabulary books by Norman Lewis will help.
General Knowledge: Read newspapers, magazines, and online news sites. For static GK, read Lucent's GK or NCERT books on History, Geography, and General Science.

This is the way of filling up the On Demand Examinations (ODE) papers with NIOS:

1. *Registration*: You should be a registered learner in NIOS and have a valid enrollment number. ODE register for the online admission portal of NIOS.

2. *Eligibility*: An On Demand Examination is continued for learners who are usually qualified to take their relevant examinations or ones who could not attend public exams for any possible reasons.

3. *Documents and Fees*: You have to submit the scanned documents like a photo and ID proof and an examination application fee of ?500 per theory subject and ?200 per practical subject; in addition, an online transaction fee of ?50 will also be charged.

4. *Exam Center*: For an examination, designated centers include NIOS HQ, regional centers, or Kendriya Vidyalayas.

5. *Schedule*: These exams will take place within the On Demand Exam Dates, as posted on the NIOS web portal. The admissions occur throughout the year, but no ODE examinations will take place in April, May, October, or November.

Although the admissions requirements can differ every year, just as for the colleges, on an AIR 12015 in CLAT 2024, and a 77% in class 12th Science, you might have eligibility for many colleges under this category i.e. B.Sc. LLB.
