Candidates can appear in JEE Main irrespective of their percentage in class 12. Candidates must note that there is no requirement for JEE Main eligibility marks in 12th for appearing in the exam. The eligibility criteria of 75% marks is applicable only at the time of taking admission to the institute. Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2024. Candidates who passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2025 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2024.

The Central Board of Secondary Education released the CBSE 10th and 12th compartment test date 2024 PDF available on June 7, 2024. SASTRA University BTech admission criteria are divided into two streams and they are as mentioned below:

Stream 1: JEE Mains + Class 12 marks (50% weightage given to each), for admission to 50% of the total seats

Stream 2: Class 12 marks (100% weightage), for admission to the remaining 50%

For 50% of the total seats, the University accepts JEE Main scores and for the rest of the seats, admission is done based on the merit secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam.

Undergraduate students can pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree plan, which prepares them for careers in nursing and related fields. Candidates must have finished class 12 with English as one of their main courses and physics, chemistry, and biology as their other subjects. Applicants must have graduated from the State body of Education with at least 45 percent of their diplomas, or from a comparable, recognised educational body. For BSc Nursing, the NEET qualifying cutoff is 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 50 percentile for the general category. Colleges will provide the opening and closing ranks for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing prior to the counselling rounds.
