Yes, MBA admission is based on the marks obtained in MAT or CAT for the state level and the result obtained in I-CET conducted in A.P/Telangana.MCA admission will be based on the rank in A.P/TS I-CET in the entrance test conducted by Andhra Pradesh/Telangana states.
Apart from that, the university also accepts scores from other tests like CAT and APICET for admission to MBA courses.

No, there is seperate entrance exam for all PG courses except MBA programme.
There will be 200 questions for which 600 marks will be allotted in PG exams. The time duration for it will be 3 hours while for MBA the exam will be held for 100 questions and 300 marks will be allotted to it. This exam will be conducted for 2 hours.

All candidates who have passed Diploma courses in any discipline from SLIET or from any other Polytechnic affiliated with any State Board of Technical Education and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) securing 55% marks or CGPA 5.5 on 10-point scale or equivalent (50% or CGPA 5.0 on a 10-point scale or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to reserved category, SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/PH) are eligible to compete for admission to the appropriate B.E. programmes.

To ensure a smooth examination process, the candidates are advised to check the exam day guidelines of AUEET. Some of the important AUEET exam day guidelines are listed below.
- Candidates are advised to reach the centre atleast an hour before the examination.
- While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates will have to present their AUEET admit card and identity proof.
- No electronic devices will be allowed inside the centre.
- Parents/guardians are requested to leave the centre premises to avoid overcrowding.
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the centre until the end of the exam.

Candidates should check the list of prohibited items released by authorities. No electronic items such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, calculators, etc., will be allowed inside AUEET exam centre. If candidates are found with prohibited items inside centre, then they will be disqualified from examination. Candidates should leave such items at home or with their guardians/parents.

Candidates will have to present their identity proof at the AUEET exam centres along with the hall ticket. The list of identity proofs that will be accepted by the authorities at the AUEET exam centre are - Aadhaar card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Any Govt. approved identity proof. Any one of the above-mentioned identity proof can be presented at the centre.

Once the AUEET centres are allotted, the authorities will not entertain any requests to change it. Since the centres will be allotted after checking the candidates' preferences and seat availability, no requests for changes will be accepted. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while submitting their preferences in the AUEET application form.

There will be 200 questions which will be asked in the exam. There is differential marking scheme for different courses. The total marks allotted to the UPCATET exam will be 600. Applicants who want to appear in PCM, PCB, PAG, and PHS group must check the detailed description of the individual subject and marks allotted to them.
