DYPIEMR accepts the scores of MHT-CET and JEE-Main for admission to B.Tech courses. The candidates have to meet the minimum cutoff marks and ranks for their preferred branch of engineering. The minimum marks required for B.Tech at DYPIEMR 2023 depend on the entrance exam and the branch of engineering. For admission to B.Tech programmes, RKU accepts results from both the GUPCET and JEE Main. The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET), with a minimum needed score of 50%, is the basis for admission to the B.Pharm programme.Results from GUJCET or the RKU Admission Test (RKUAT) are taken into consideration by RKU for BBA and BBA (Hons.) programmes.
RKU often takes into account a minimal proportion (typically between 45 and 50%) of your 10+2 board exam results for admission to these programmes. Along with other selection criteria, scores from the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) may be taken into account for some M.Tech

For admission to PG courses under the management quota, the college conducts a separate entrance test. To be eligible for admission counseling, candidates must score at least 50% in the entrance exams.

Jaypee University of Information & Technology, Solan was established in the year 2002. It offers 7 specializations under the B.Tech program, 4 under M.Tech, and 8 under the Ph.D. program. B.Tech is a full-time undergraduate programme of four years with a total of 510 seats. According to the official website of JUIT Solan, admission to B.Tech programme is through two modes:
- Valid JEE Main scores and merit basis (marks obtained in 10+2 examination).
- For Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, 50% of seats are filled through JEE Main and the remaining 50% through merit in the qualifying examination.
So, yes, JEE is required for B.Tech

JUIT Solan offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.To get the admission in JUIT, you have to fulfill following criteria:
- For B.Tech admission, candidates can apply either through JEE Main scores or merit in the qualifying examination (10+2).
- For M.Tech admission, candidates need to appear for GATE or Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) conducted by JUIT.
- For M.Sc admission, candidates are selected based on their marks in the previous qualifying examination.
