The selection process for B.Tech in CUJ is done through writing CUET or JEE main. Although the cutoffs for both the exams are not explicitly mentioned, the students can check the previous year trends in the college website, which are available to be downloaded. The candidate must pass the 12th grade or equivalent to be eligible to get an admission based on the CUET or JEE main score.

All students who have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent are eligible to apply. If your board is other than that of the Tamil Nadu HSE, CBSE and ICSC, you should obtain an eligibility certificate from the University of Madras.The admission process is strictly based on the merit of the students in the qualifying examination/entrance examination. For BA English and BVA courses at the UG level and for all courses at the PG level, there will be an entrance examination conducted by the Stella Maris College admission

The candidates can check the previous year trends in the website of the college and are available to be downloaded in the PDF format. Xavier Institute of Social Service is a top ranked B-school in India, it accepts scores from the following entrance exams for admission to its PGDM courses: CAT, XAT, CMAT. XISS Ranchi also considers other parameters such as ; an applicant's past academic record, performance in the entrance exam, group discussion, and personal interview.

NSU accepts CUET-PG scores for courses including Acharya, MA, MSc, MAIMT, B. The entrance exam is conducted by Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha. The admission to these UG courses are based on CUET UG Exam scores, the merit of the student considering their 10+2 examination results. The students have to get qualified in the CUET entrance examination with a valid scorecard if they want to study at National Sanskrit University.
