The selection process for B.A., LL.B. is based on two steps. The first one is to score a minimum of 45% in class 10+2 and clear CLAT, CBSE 12th, ISC, and RBSE 12th in any one of them. In 2023 Score between 80 and 85 marks in the CLAT examination for admission to NLU Jodhpur University. The assumption of a cut-off for the year 2024 is 95 to 100 marks in the CLAT test.

For different courses, different entrance exams are required. In PGDM/MBA courses, a minimum of 50% in graduation and a clear MAT, CMAT, or CAT are required. For B.A. LL.B. and BBA LL.B. courses, 45% in 10+2 and clear CLAT, CBSE 12th, ISC, and RBSE 12th. For the LL.M. course, 50% in graduation and a clear CLAT test For the PG Diploma course, 50% in graduation and a clear MAT, CAT, and CMAT are required.

The College Board allows candidates to use calculators for Maths section. As per the latest version of SAT exam which is now Digital, the students are allowed to use calculators for all their Maths section questions. Earlier there were two Maths sections one which permitted the students the use of calculators and other which did not. But now, students are free to use their calculators for all the Maths questions.
