Maitreyi College, University of Delhi review.

Placements: Companies like Deloitte hire students from commerce and economics courses however not everyone can get placed only the top rankers with an impressive CV can get placed with internship experience. Through the college you can get a lot of good internship opportunities with budding companies in edtech fintech and many more. Average package for Bachelors can vary from 7lpa to 14lpa depending on the course and company. Top roles offered in commerce courses are for accounting firms and junior management roles.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is beautiful there are computer labs and Chemistry labs and other labs for different subjects. The library is well-equipped with all the resources like books and even computers which are accessible to anyone at anytime. There is a huge group as well for sports and a medium sized basketball court is also present. The classrooms are equipped with projectors. The hostel has not been started yet however it will get started this year The canteen is hygienic and the food there is tasty and healthy. There is a medical room with a medical officer present for any emergencies.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and understanding with a good teaching experience. The curriculum is relevant and followed as per guidelines given by the university of Delhi. The curriculum makes the students industry ready but there is still the need for internships and hands on experience which the college also offers. The semester exams are moderately difficult and almost all the students are able to pass but for those who do not have to give the exams again.

Other: B.Com is good for students interested in commerce and can give the basic knowledge for higher studies the faculty is very good and there are many assignments that help gain knowledge. The college crowd is very diverse and you will see girls from all backgrounds and ethnicities. The college has a lot of societies for all sorts of things like debate, dance, marketing, acting, music for a good resume and a good college life experience. The annual fest of the college Rhapsody is the biggest event where all the societies and students volunteer and host competitions and many judges come from outside it is a two day fest which ends with a concert in the evening by a big star.

It is a good place for studying as it has helpful and good staff members.

Placements: More than 95% of students are placed. The salary package offered is 15 LPA. Political activists and teachers are the roles offered. Government companies visit here. The placement cell plays a very important role in collaborating with various companies.

Infrastructure: All the amenities are available. The quality of the food is amazing. Facilities are great. The best part is the book collection in the library. We get ice cream and curd from Mother Dairy. The hostel has a very good environment and a variety of plants.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful. The course is interesting. 33% is the pass percentage. 75% attendance is mandatory. Semester exams are easy if we study. Teachers use the best teaching methods and notes. The course offers many options.

Other: I am interested in political science, so I chose this course. We gain knowledge of political institutions. Everything is fine. All events and activities are conducted at the highest levels. We enjoy them a lot.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: 20% of the students are placed. There are companies came like Deliotte for placement. One should have good skills and CV. The placements of students of arts and commerce are much more in comparison to Science students. But it depends on you in which line you want to go or get placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, food of canteen is also eatable but the network is not good. Even they have install Wi-Fi but they are not as helpful. Hostel is not yet ready fully. So don't know about that much. But the labs and classrooms are pretty okay.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have knowledge. And the semester exams are okay not that much hard but you have to study atleast a week before to score good CGPA. The pass percentage is same as other DU colleges. One should get 40% in an indi subject to get pass.

Great atmosphere with great placements in 2023.

Placements: Mostly 75% of students got their placements at good companies in New Delhi and some became Doctors in AIIMS and some of them became engineers, models and so on. Coat manager, financial manager, and accountant, Bank manager, entrepreneur are the roles students get.

Infrastructure: Free wi-fi connection, clean and tidy classrooms. Everyday morning and evening they clean classrooms and grounds. I need to talk about my college garden area, they always used to keep every place neat and clean. I don't know about the hostel because I have never been there.

Faculty: Teachers were well educated and most especially my lecturers studied in U. S. and they are super friendly. It also gives you some ideas and motivation to achieve that. Semester exams are not much difficult. Top-notch teachers with a great experience.

Other: I want to become an entrepreneur so this course is absolutely the right option. Maybe they should add more other subjects instead of giving the same subject for 4 and 5 semesters. There will be lots and lots of events.

Our college has very good infrastructure.

Placements: The average salary offered is Rs.40,000 per month. Less students get placed in companies through our college. Some internships and jobs are provided such as web developer, business analytic intern, and business development intern. Placements are not good in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi is provided with good speed. Classrooms are well managed with digital boards for students. Hostels are not open but they may be ready in the next year. Labs are not upgraded and instruments are not good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and guide students throughout their careers. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Semester exams are averagely difficult. Students should score 33% to pass.
