Here are some tips on how to practice IELTS speaking:

• Familiarize yourself with the IELTS speaking test format. The IELTS speaking test consists of three parts:
  • Part 1: Introduction and questions on familiar topics
  • Part 2: Long turn
  • Part 3: Discussion
• Record yourself speaking and listen back. This is a great way to identify areas where you need to improve,  such as your pronunciation,  grammar,  and fluency.
• Practice speaking English with a native speaker or with someone who is also preparing for the IELTS speaking test. This will help you get feedback on your speaking and get used to speaking in English in a conversational setting.
• Here are some specific exercises you can do to practice IELTS speaking:
  • Describe a person, place, or thing in detail. For example,  you could describe your favorite room in your house,  your favorite place to visit,  or your favorite person.
  • Talk about a current event or topic of interest. For example,  you could talk about a recent news story,  a new book you're reading,  or a hobby you enjoy.
  • Give an opinion on a controversial topic. For example,  you could talk about whether or not social media is a good thing,  whether or not schools should have uniforms,  or whether or not celebrities should have role models.
  • Answer questions about yourself, your life, and your interests. For example,  the examiner might ask you questions about your hobbies,  your family,  or your travel experiences.

The more you practice speaking English, the better prepared you will be for the IELTS speaking test.

Following is the eligiblity criteria for Trinity College, Dublin:

• a professional certification, degree, or history of success in business.
• three to five years' minimum of managerial or professional work experience.
• A minimum GMAT* score of 550 is preferred, or an equivalent GRE score.
• For non-native English speakers, take the TOEFL IBT 90 or IELTS 6.5.

Given below are some of the popular entrance exams other than NIFT Entrance Exams that they can appear in:

• UCEED: The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the BDes program. IIT Bombay declared the results of UCEED 2023 on March 9, 2023. The results were declared online at the UCEED 2023 - IIT Bombay admission portal. 
• SAT India: The College Board administers the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test), a standardised college admissions test, to applicants for admission to US and Canadian universities. Certain institutions and colleges in the UK and Australia also accept the SAT score. The exam is approved for admission to more than 20 colleges in India in addition to universities and colleges abroad. The SAT includes three tests: a math test, a writing and language test, and a reading test.
• CUET: Common University Entrance Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various courses at UG and PG level. The exam is conducted once a year in over 500 cities in India and abroad. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode. CUET exam is conducted in multiple phases depending upon on the number of candidates registered for the entrance exam. 
• DAT: Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Design (NID) to shortlist candidates for admission to the BDes and DAT courses offered by the participating institutes. Currently, the BDes course has an intake of 425 seats and is offered at the following 5 campuses - SAT Ahmedabad, CUET Andhra Pradesh, NID Haryana, NID Madhya Pradesh, and NID Assam. Meanwhile, the MDes course offers 347 seats at its 3 campuses - NID Ahmedabad, CUET Gandhinagar, and NID Bengaluru.
