No, there is no entrance exam required for admission to BSc at KCLAS. Students who pass Class 12 with 80% aggregate are eligible to apply for BSc (for BSc (Data Science, Class 12 must be passed with Mathematic/ Computer Science as the main subjects). Based on the merit score of Class 12, students are given admission to BSc course at KCLAS.

Every year, there are thousands of candidates who are unable to score passing marks or minimum aggregate marks in the BSEB Class 12 exams. Such students can either apply to appear for the Compartment exam or they can appear for the board exams next year. BSEB is expected to hold BSEB Inter Compartment Exams 2026 in April/May 2026. The Board will announce the schedule for the compartment exam after the declaration of the BSEB 12th Board result. Yes, students may face a deduction in their original score after the declaration of the re-evaluated marks. After the students apply for the scrutiny, the board will re-check the answer sheets and re-total the marks of such students. The board will then re-total the marks. Hence, while applying for re-evaluation, students must be 100 percent sure about the chances of a higher score before applying for re-evaluation. If the students are not 100 percent sure about applying for scrutiny, they can rather appear for the improvement exam.
