If candidates miss their last date for MET counselling document verification, then their admission will be cancelled.

Candidates have to submit documents during MET counselling to confirm admission. Some important documents to be submitted are hall ticket, rank card, counselling form, marksheets and more.

MET seat allotment result will be announced online at counseling.manipal.edu. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment of MET. Candidates will be able to check the MET seat allotment result by logging in using their application number and OTBS password. Through the seat allotment result, the candidates will be able to check the course and campus that they have been allotted to. The selected candidates will also be informed about the admission confirmation and fee payment process.

Admission to UG courses from the 2022-2023 academic session will be based on NTA Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores. Hence, aspirants wanting to pursue a UG course shall appear for this entrance exam.

For MET admission, candidates have to pass 12th class qualifying exam. Minimum 50 percent is needed in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects. Candidates should have minimum pass marks in each subject.

To participate in the MET counselling and be eligible for admissions into the offered courses by the campuses, the candidates will have to attempt and qualify the entrance examination. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank along with other factors such as order of preferences, category and seat availability.
