MET seat allotment result will be announced online at counseling.manipal.edu. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment of MET. Candidates will be able to check the MET seat allotment result by logging in using their application number and OTBS password. Through the seat allotment result, the candidates will be able to check the course and campus that they have been allotted to. The selected candidates will also be informed about the admission confirmation and fee payment process.

For MET admission, candidates have to pass 12th class qualifying exam. Minimum 50 percent is needed in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects. Candidates should have minimum pass marks in each subject.

No. The authorities will not accept any other examination scores for MET counselling. All candidates will be assessed based on their scores secured in MET. To participate in the MET counselling and be eligible for admissions into the offered courses by the campuses, the candidates will have to attempt and qualify the entrance examination. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank along with other factors such as order of preferences, category and seat availability.

As per the details available in the brochure and multiple online sources, there is no provision available for direct admissions to the LLB programme at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith Varanasi. Candidates seeking admission to MGKVP Varanasi for LLB, however, are required to appear and apply for the university-level entrance exam. Those who wualify the exam and possess the basic minimum eligibility of having an undergraduate degree get admission to this course.

The RET exam paper is divided into two sections/papers. The details are as follows:
- The first section/paper will include questions around General Awareness, Aptitude, Academic and related issues. There will be a total of 10 questions. All the questions will be of one mark and the students will get a total of two hours to finish this exam.
- The second section/ paper will be inclusive is research aptitude-based questions. There will be a total of 200 questions of one mark each.
