No, there is no interview round in the SSC JE (Junior Engineer) exam selection process. The selection is based solely on the candidate's performance in the computer-based exam conducted by SSC. The steps in SSC JE recruitment are given below:

• Computer Based Examination: This is the main written exam conducted in online mode. It tests candidates on questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and Technical subjects
• Document Verification: Only those who qualify the computer based exam are shortlisted for document verification. SSC checks the original documents submitted by candidates to confirm eligibility
• Merit List: Based on the combined performance in the computer based exam and document verification process, SSC prepares the final merit list of selected candidates
• Offer of Appointment: Candidates in the merit list as per vacancies are issued offer letters for the Junior Engineer post

There is no subjective evaluation of candidates' skills, experience, communication skills etc. through a personal interview. The selection is purely based on evaluation of the computer based exam. Hence, the focus is on effectively preparing for and scoring well in the objective type test paper. Qualifying the exam cut-off is the sole criteria for selection as SSC JE.

IIFT exam score is valid for admission to IIFT Institutes only – IIFT Delhi, IIFT Kolkata and IIFT Kakinada. No other MBA/PGDM institute accepts IIFT exam score for admission. The scores are accepted for admission to MBA International Business and MBA Business Analytics. The latter has been introduced in 2023 academic year. 

Candidates who wish to pursue MBA from IIFT only, apply to the institute. About 30,000 to 50,000 candidates apply for IIFT-MBA every year.

However, it is to be noted that for admission to the 2024-26 MBA batch, IIFT entrance exam will not be conducted. The institute will select candidates on the basis of CAT 2023 score.

Yes, IIFT cut offs for MBA-International Business and Business Analytics admission differ category wise. For General category students, the IIFT cut off is higher than that for Reserved category students. For example, the IIFT 2022 cut off for General category candidates was 52.75 but for SC/ST candidates, it was 42.75. in 2023, the qualifying cut off was 35 percentile for General-EWS and NC-OBC categories, it is 35 percentile. For SC/ST/PwD/KashmiriMigrants/Non-Migrants, the IIFT cut offs 2023 was 30 percentile. Selection for the personal interview round is based on these cut offs.

The Reserved category students also get the benefit of Reservation quota fixed by the Government of India. A certain number of seats are available for Reserved category candidates in the management programmes.

Candidates will not be able to download the BUMAT question paper soon after appearing for the exam. The official question paper will be uploaded few days after the exam is conducted on the Shiksha portal. Candidates will be able to access the BUMAT question paper here. Baharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University does not releases the official BUMAT question paper and answer key. Candidates are not required to enter the login credentials to download the answer key and question paper when uploaded here.
