There will be a total of 2 internal exams called periodicals 1 and Periodical 2. If the student misses the internals/periodical exam, there will be missed periodicals/internals conducted for those students. Students who missed it, have to get permission from the respective faculty members and the HoD to write the missed periodicals. They'll have to give appropriate reasons why they've missed those internals. The missed periodicals will happen after the regular 2 periodicals.

It means you are in the lowest 44% of the people who have appeared in this exam or you have performed better than 44 % of people who have appeared in the MAT exam.

For e.g if there were 100 people who have appeared in the exam you are in the lowest 44 people.
