Firstly, every student should give their best in their exams. We know that it's not that tough to clear Engineering college exams. One can clear Engineering college exams by just focusing in class and revising notes provided by professors. But if any students fails in SRM Easwari Engineering college, college conducts one supplementary exam. If anyone fails in that also then they get backlog and they can clear backlog by giving exam with junior batch.

Well if someone misses its Internal Exam in the college, he/she has to submit an application with a proper reason for missing the exam. There is no provision for retest in the case of Internal Examination, the student will have another chance in the next internal examination to improve his/her score. As there are two internal test in every semester the students, the score is chosen in best of 2 format. It might not be a problem if missed the exam for valid reason. Also 75% attendance is strictly mandatory for appearing in all kinds of exams.

If someone miss the internal exam in the university they must attend again in the next year and for present semester, they will be marked as absent.
If they didn't attend next year it will remain the same until they attend.
The rules are very strict for examination in the university.

Firstly every student should try their best to give internal exams but then also if someone misses their internal exams and they have a valid reason such as health issues or sudden death of any close one or something like this then they can request for re-exam. They will have to submit medical certificate and by doing some process they can get permission for re-exam.

If someone misses the internal exams in NIT Sikkim, there are chances of consideration if the reasons are genuine just like health issues, severe health conditions, death of someone in the house. It will be considered if you talk to your head of the department and your faculty advisory with the prime consent of dean academics. There are no such issues, but if you fails to show or satisfy your faculty and HOD then you will not be considered for re-exam and declared as back. So beware of this things and try to attend all the examination. Miss the examination in severe cases which are unavoidable else try to attempt and attend all the exam
