Check below for the documents needed to be uploaded to complete the GATE 2024 registration process:
- A high-quality image of a candidate's photograph conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 200KB)
- Good quality image of candidate's signature conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 150KB)
- Scanned copy of the Eligibility Certificate in pdf format (Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate or Certificate from the Head of the Department/ Institute (format specified in Appendix A of the Information Brochure) (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB)
- Scanned copy of Category (SC/ST) Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB)
- Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB)
- Scanned copy of Dyslexic Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB)
- Details of the valid Identity Document* (ID) (The same ID, in original, should be carried to the examination hall)
- Net-banking/debit card/credit card details for fee payment

Candidates will be required to log in again whenever they can get back online to check their payment status on the GOAPS website. If the payment is received, candidates can print their application form. If the payment was not received by GATE then he or she can also check the status of the transaction from the bank account. If the fee amount has been debited from his or her bank account but GOAPS does not acknowledge any fee payment, then the money will be credited back to their account. However, this may take a week or more after the closure of the application process. In such a situation, a candidate may initiate a fresh payment on GOAPS without waiting for the money to be credited back to the account. After completely filling out the GATE 2023 application form and submitting all the details, you will have to digitally sign and accept the GATE declaration, through which a candidate accepts that all the information provided by a candidate is true. If the declaration is not accepted, it may lead to the rejection of the application. If a candidate wants to check the GATE application status, he or she can log in to the GOAPS. Candidates need to enter their enrollment ID and password to check the application status. Also, "under scrutiny" or "under process' means that the application is still being scrutinised. No, a candidate does not need to send a printout of the GATE application form to the organising institute or any other GATE zonal offices.
