IBPS PO prelims exam is conducted in four shifts -9 am to 10 am, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 5 pm. IBPS PO Mains exam is conducted in two shifts- 9 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The shift timings of the prelims and Mains exams are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per their shift timings. Candidates reporting late to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. IBPS PO exam timings for prelims and mains exams are given below.

IBPS PO notification 2023 was released on July 31, 2023. The notification was released for the post of Probationary Officers in 11 public sector banks in India. The notification was released in PDF form and comprises details such as exam dates, eligibility criteria, selection process, exam pattern, etc. IBPS PO prelims exam will be conducted on September 23, 30 and October 1, 2023. The Mains exam of IBPS PO will be conducted on November 5, 2023. Candidates must read the IBPS PO notification before applying to the exam. IBPS PO Mains exam 2023 was conducted on November 5, 2023 for the candidates who have qualify the prelims exam. The Mains exam carries questions from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. The Mains test paper carries descriptive-type questions too from English Language (Letter Writing and Essay). The duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes with sectional timings. The total marks allotted to the test are 225. The marks obtained in the Mains exam are counted for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for interview.

IBPS PO prelims exam 2023 was conducted online on September 23 & 30 at around 100 cities spread throughout the country. The prelims exam consists of three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The duration of the test is 60 minutes with sectional timings of 20 minutes. The test paper carries a total of 100 objective-type questions. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the Mains exam. The mains exam comprises both objective and subjective-type papers. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list.
