TFWS category has to relatively secure a better rank than any other candidate who can be of any category ( General, SC, ST, OBC) in order to get the subsidies of the TFWS category. This happens due to the fact that the number of TFWS seats under MHT CET is relatively less and the number of students to opt for those seats are very high. So chances of getting TFWS seat are very less.

For the candidates who qualify for admission in the IITs, NITs, IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE Main or JEE Advanced ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the Class 12 examination or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 examination conducted by respective Boards. Yes, of course, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is worth taking after failing the Union Public Service Commission exam. As per the official notification of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, the commission has changed its syllabus and it is now on the lines of the Union Public Service Commission. So you do not have to prepare separately for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission if you have already prepared for Union Public Service Commission. I hope this will help you.
