No, you don't need to necessarily take coaching to crack NIFT and NID exams. It can be done based on self-study. For that, you need to take notes on a few points. Create a timetable and get stick to it. Follow NIFT and NID prescribed entrance books for your preparation. Try to practice sketching every day and taking inspiration from the real life environment around you. Keep browsing through newspapers and the latest magazines as much as you can. Try to be creative. Practice previous year's papers. Also, practice on A4 size sketchbooks and not in A3 as it is the standard size of the answer sheet provided in the examination.

Hi dear aspirant, Of course you can get admission in B.Sc. Computer Science but it is hard to say anything about B.Tech degree. I would suggest you to follow these steps. First check the central universities offering B.Sc. Degree in computer Science
Then check the state universities
If you get a seat, it solves your issue, but if by chance you don't get a seat then look for your own state universities and colleges. There you will certainly get a seat because they have state quota for their home or state student.

Although you have made it to the next round but that doesn't change the fact that your percentile is quite low, though I can't say certainly but based on previous years trend you won't make it for any IIIT or NIT.
