Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Based on the updated IIT JAM eligibility criteria, the candidates must pass the qualifying degree examination. Also, if a candidate is promoted without a mark sheet then he/she can submit the promotion Certificate with the details of the subjects taken in that semester/year to evaluate the MEQ requirements for admission to a specific programme. Candidates who are pursuing the qualifying examination have to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination to the admitting institute by Sep 30, 2023. Welcome to the Shiksha platform,
If you will get 200 marks then you will not able to get admission in a government college for BAMS course. If you want to do BAMS then private colleges provide this course. If you want to get admission in a government college then approximately 500 marks are required and 450 marks for OBC, 350-300 in SC/ST category.

If your cutoff is 170 and you belong to BC category then you must get admission for biomedical engineering in a top college if you want to make your career in biomedical.

There are rounds of counselling. For example, you scored 500 in an entrance and there are 5 colleges ranked. According to your score, you will get college no. 3 in the first counselling and others with a higher score than you will get no. 1 and no. 2. Now one of the candidate for some reason has left the college no. 2 that he got in counselling round 1. That seat is vacant now. Now, in the second round of counselling, your seat that you got will get upgraded to college no. 2 from 3. That's how a counselling process occurs for almost all the entrances. There are chances to get into sastra with your score but you will hold that when you wait till 3rd round of counseling. All the best.

You have chances of getting into SASTRA if your JEE rank lies between 20k to 30k. You have possibilities to get into SASTRA for ECE. Try up to the 3rd round of counseling, you have 80% chances of getting into ECE branch of SASTRA with your score.
