There will be a huge competition for SASTRA. There will be a chance of getting into sastra if you are from Tamilnadu or tanjore residents under home quota. If not you have very less chance to get a seat there. If you have applied for admission in sastra if your sastra rank is below 2500 in stream 1 you will be getting a seat but not the computer Science or the main streams.

Hi. To be eligible in First Semester, candidates should have secured JEE Advanced AIR rank up to 12000 or JEE Main Percentile of 97 and above. To be eligible from Second Semester onwards, candidates need to maintain a CGPA of 8.50 or above and no backlog.

The 12th marks criteria of 75% has been reintroduced during this year in admission in NIT, IIITs, IITs and GFTIs. So 75% marks in 12th are mandatory.

Yes if the registration window is open on JEE Advanced website. Generally the cutoffs for general candidate go as high as 90 percentile. So you will be eligible for registration.

If you belong to general category there is a high chance that you will not be able to clear the cutoff. Every year NTA releases different cutoff for JEE Advanced you can SEE that cutoff on your JEE Main result after all the sessions of JEE Main get conducted.

The cutoff for 2020 for CSE were 40000 for general, 56000 for OBC & 132000 for SC. There is no data available for recent years. You should apply for counseling as there is a high chance of getting a seat if year rank is under 50000.

Hi, Vidhya as your score is not that good but it depends on the percentile u get. If u get above 90 percentile then u can apply for JEE advance.
