A year a more than enough for passing MAH CET exam as there is no negative marking so the target should be among the top 5-10 students if you are preparing for a year so that you get into the top colleges in Maharashtra which is JBIMS which will ultimately get you placed for a good package at a lower fee and also help in building career in the desired field.

The important things which you should look into while preparing for this exam are as follows:
1. Select one of the best coaching centers which offer quality education- TIME is one of the famous coaching centers for CAT and MAT.
2. Dedication- Be focused on the aim which you need to achieve.
3. Try to read Hindu newspaper editorial. Most of the passages which appear in MAT are from Hindu editorial.
4. Try to do a maximum number of online mock tests. You will definitely clear MAT by doing the above.
5. Try to read as much as you can and make note of points.
6. Revision of each week topics is very important.

Hello Thirisha, You have scored almost 72 as percentile. This means there are 28% students who have score better than you. If 10 Lacs students have appeared for JEE Mains exam, then there would be almost 3 Lacs students above you. The total number of seats available in all NIT combined together is much less. In view of this I am afraid your chances of getting a seat in any course are quite low. But one never knows since there are special quota for girl candidates in all the NIT.
