Yes, you are eligible, but you have to score really good comparatively to UP candidates to get seat in good Colleges of UPTU.

It totally depends on your interest. If you are going for core branches, then you have to give GATE to get good job, or if you have computer Science or Electronics background, then you can get satisfactory jobs from campus placement.

The expected cut-off this year will be up and above 80 percentile and it varies according to the applicants year after year. I would say you have very little chance of getting a call. All the best!
