Once the GLIM Chennai selection process is over, the admissions committee offers provisional admissions. Students who are offered admissions must report to the institute with the following documents:
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Migration certificate
- School leaving certificate/transfer certificate
- UG degree
- UG marksheets
- CAT/XAT/GMAT scorecard
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (applicable for candidates seeking admission via EWS category)

Once PUMBA closes the application portal, the admission committee conducts the SPPU exam. Candidates who have successfully registered for the programme must appear for the exam. This test is conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University and is of 200 marks. Once the test is done, the institute allocated Executive MBA seats based on the candidate's performance in the exam.

PUMBA has not released the admission schedule for EMBA programme 2025 admissions. Thus, the last date to apply for the Executive MBA at PUMBA is not available. The institute is expected to open the application portal soon. Once the application portal is live, students must visit the official website of the institute and apply before the deadline.

No, PUMBA Executive MBA admissions are purely entrance-based. For admission to the EMBA programme, Savitribai Phule Pune University conducts an in-house entrance test, i.e., the SPPU entrance test. Thus, students seeking admission to this programme must have a valid SPPU score.
