The admission to the LLM programme is done on the basis of applicants scores in the Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) scores. Candidates seeking admission are thus required to register and apply to take the test. Before filling out the form, aspirants must check out the eligibility requirements. Candidates who get shortlisted based on exam score have to participate in the e-counselling round. In this round, the seat allotment is done followed by which the fee payment can be done for admission confirmation.

The Calcutta University may reserve certain seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST or other such categories. It follows the reservation rules of the Government of West Bengal. Candidates taking admission under a reserved category have to submit the relevant document for verification. Moreover, the university has a seat intake of 120 for the BA LLB course. This seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

For admission to BA LLB programme of Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility and selection criteria. The aspirants who are Class 12 pass with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) are eligible to register and take the entrance test. Calcutta University admit candidates to the integrated course based on Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) scores. After selection, candidates need to take part in e-counselling for seat allotment. After this, the coure fee amount can be paid for seat confirmation.

BA LLB is considered as the top course of this Institute because the return on investment after completing this course is very high. Student get a great ROI after doing this course. The fees for doing this course is 87.2 K - 3.2 L and the median package after completing this course is 7.84 LPA. The returns can be clearly seen. The number of specialities available to pursue in this course are also the highest.
