Yes, Banaras Hindu University offers a wide range of merit-based, need-based, and merit-cum-means based scholarships. Most of these scholarships consider students' academic records. The amount and eligibility of BHU scholarships depend on the department or institute offering them. For example, the Institute of Science, BHU offers various scholarships ranging from worth INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 per year. There are dedicated scholarships for women and SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. Further, BHU students are also eligible for the national scholarships offered through the NSP portal.

Yes, Banaras Hindu University offers BTech as a 4-year UG course. Students can choose between the specialisations available at the university, such as Dairy Technology and Food Technology. Admission to these courses is based on CUET UG scores. 

Further, IIT BHU also offers BTech in specialisations like CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil, etc. Admission to IIT BHU BTech is strictly through the JoSAA Counselling based on JEE Advanced score.

Fee refund policy of Faculty of Law, DU is as follows:

  • If a student withdraws admission before the last date of admission, full refund of fee with a deduction of INR 5,000 is given to the student. Refunds are initiated after admissions close and processed within 3 months to the original payment source.
  • No refunds are given for withdrawals made after the last date. 
  • Admission Fee is not refunded if a candidate is found ineligible at any stage.
  • Registration fee and withdrawal fee are non-refundable in any case.

No, you can not take direct admission into the UG and PG courses offered by Faculty of Law, BHU. The college acceptes admission only on the basis of score and rank obtained in CUET UG and CUET PG respectively.

Faculty of Law, BHU offers a three-year LLB, one-year LLM and a five-year integrated BA LLB course. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of score and ranked obtained by student in CUET exam. Candidates have eto apply on the NTA CUET website, select BHU, and apply for BHU's Combined Allotment Program.
