SEED 2026 exam will be conducted online for all programmes. There will be no offline exam centre. You can give exam from your home, but you should have proper internet connection.

The M.Des program has an intake of 20 seats. The Symbiosis Institute of Design hasn't given any category-wise reservation.

This means all seats will be treated as open category.

The allotment of seats to the M.Des program will be as per SEED 2025 merit rank.

  • Bachelor's Degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialization or 
  • Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design/Fine Arts/Applied Arts/ Architecture

"On completion of the M.Des programme, you can kickstart your career as an Interface Designer, UX Architect, UX Designer, Web Designer, Mobile Application Interface Designer, Game Designer, Interaction Designer, Service Designer and so on.

Although it varies by college and course level, you can check the basic age criteria for admission to Fashion Design courses:

  • UG Courses: usually have a maximum age of 17 to 25 years old.
  • PG Courses: There might not be a set age restriction.
  • While other institutes might have age restrictions NIFTs do not.
