The eligibility criteria may differ depending on the course opted by the candidate. For instance, candidates seeking admission to the B. Des course needs to have passed 10+2 exam from a recognised institute and should be less than 24 hours as of August 1, 2023. Relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit applies for candidates belonging to Sc, ST and PwD candidates.

The written tests for the NIFT 2023 exam were held on February 5, 2023. The written tests comprised a General Ability Test (GAT) and a Creative Ability Test (CAT). GAT is mandatory for all candidates, but CAT is only required for B. Des and M. Des candidates. Note that during the computer-based GAT paper, candidates faced technical issues. Consequently, the paper was re-conducted on February 19, 2023.

A: The final results of NIFT 2023 were declared on April 28, 2023. Candidates can check their results following the download link given on this page. The final results were prepared considering the performance of the candidate in GAT CAT and Situation Test/ Personal Interview. Consequently, the final results are released only for such candidates who appeared in both the written exam and Situation Test/Personal Interview.

Also, it is the best way to comprehend the exam pattern. Improve your General Knowledge and also try to make a habit of reading the newspaper and magazines regularly.

NIFT is very good for fashion designing. In my opinion NIFT Bangalore is the best. After that, NIFT Chennai is very good you can also go for Pearl academy.
