To become a food scientist you are required to complete your 10+2 in science stream with physics, chemistry, biology and maths as main subjects with a minimum of 50%.
Graduation can be done from any recognised university or college in a field which is related to food technology.

Yes, you have to give JEE Main to get admission in ICT, Mumbai University. Cutoff varies every year, but a rank below 10k to 12k will do the trick. If you are from Maharashtra, then stats may be different.
