Food Technology is a Science division that deals with the practises involved in production, processing, preservation, packaging, labelling, quality management, and delivery of food products. The study of food technology is to cultivate new methods and schemes for keeping food products safe and resistant from natural harms such as bacteria and other micro-organisms. Food Technology is a Science which involves in processing and preserving the food substances.

Hello Subbu Krishna, aah. I can understand your angst and the anxiety about selection of mist suitable course. It's of course the right thing to do. Coming to these two courses at two different IIT's, I feel that the one in Guwahati may encompass more areas and hence you will gain knowledge in these areas.
