There are various job option in cyber security after completing B.Tech in CSE. As technology growing rapidly, companies in private sector as well as government sector faces various challenges related to the security of the data. Here comes the need of a cyber security experts who keep safe of the data from hackers. Last year, NASSCOM reported that India alone would need 1 million cyber security professionals by 2021, while job portal Indeed reported a spike of 150 percent in cyber security roles between January 2020 and March 2022. There are various job roles you can choose in cyber security:
Network Security Engineer: This person ensures the security systems are implemented within the organisation to counter and stop threats. Their main responsibilities include maintaining systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and improving automation. They also oversee the maintenance of firewalls, routers, switches, various network monitoring tools, and VPNs (virtual private networks). In India, the minimum salary of a network security engineer begins at Rs 4 Lacs and can go up to 8 Lacs per annum. Cyber Security Analyst: A cyber security analyst helps in planning, implementing, and upgrading security measures and controls. They continuously monitor security access and perform internal and external security audits to ensure there are no loopholes or evidence of security lapses. A cyber security analyst is also responsible for conducting vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments, and for managing the network. In addition to these tasks, the analyst trains fellow employees in security awareness and procedures, so they are aware of the best practices to be followed to avoid security breaches.

As a Science student, you may not have taken courses that are directly related to the courses in a B.A. Programme, but you can still calculate your overall grade percentage using the grades and credit hours for the courses you have taken. To calculate your grade percentage for a particular course, you can use the following formula:
Grade percentage = (Grade earned / Total possible grade) x 100%
For example, if you earned a grade of B in a 3-credit course with a total possible grade of 100%, your grade percentage would be:
Grade percentage = (80 / 100) x 100% = 80%
Once you have calculated the grade percentage for each course, you can calculate your overall grade percentage by taking the weighted average of your course grades, using the credit hours for each course as the weights. For example, if you earned a B in a 3-credit course and an A in a 4-credit course, your overall grade percentage would be:
Overall grade percentage = (3 x 80) + (4 x 90) / (3 + 4) = 85.71%
