The minimum qualifying marks for allowing candidate in appearing in the written test shall be 50 percent in aggregate at B.Sc. level/M.Sc. level prescribed for admission to the different courses in respect of general category candidates and 45 percent aggregate in respect of SC/ST candidate.

Candidates selected for written test based on the academic requirement will be informed of the date, time and venue of written test through a letter under certificate of posting duly signed by and bearing the official stamp of the FRI (Deemed) University Office.

  • Candidate to be called for the written test shall have a minimum qualification prescribed for the purpose for the various courses.

  • There will be a written test for admission to M.Sc. Courses and Post Master Diploma Course on the following subjects:
  1. Basic Sciences including Social Scienc
  2. Arithmetic and Quantitative abilities, Computational ability, Quantitative reasoning, Interpretation of Tables, Graphs, etc.
  3. General Knowledge and Current Affairs
  4. English Language, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, Idioms, etc.

You can use these steps to apply for FRI Entrance Exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website.

Step 2: Then go to the admissions page. 

Step 3: Click on 'Information Bulletin' which will be present on the admission site. 

Step 4: Download the Information Bulletin for FRI Entrance Exam. 

Step 6: Take a print out of the application form. admit card and registration form which will be mentioned in the information bulletin. 

Step 7: Fill all the details as required, paste the passport size picture in the required places.

Step 8: Send it to the Institute bank along with the demand draft.
