KSRDPRU (Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University), Gadag, is mostly a Tier II University. Whereas, it offers postgraduate degree in Rural Development, Panchayat Raj, Governance etc., it is not of similar stature as that of National or International Standard as that of Tier 1 institutions, IITs, NITs, Central Universities, etc.

In the final placement drive of 2023 of KSRDPRU, Gadag, nearly 26 companies had placed their offer, thus offering a variety of jobs for the graduating students. It was also observed that the placements in particular were themed based like Rural development, Governance, Corporate Social Responsibly (CSR) and job in Government organizations and NGOs etc. These companies provided many types of jobs suitable to the expertise of these graduates, especially in rural management and fields of relevance.

Yes you can get direct admission in M.A. Economics in KSRDPRU GADAG if you fulfill the admission criteria. The general clause as per this exam demands a Bachelor's degree in Economics or any related field securing more than 50% for the general category and 45% for SC/ ST category from any recognised University.
Regarding admission students are admitted on merit basis and there is no written test just to qualify the admission.
