Yes, Japan-focused student exchange programmes add immense value to Galgotias University students. Following the historic visit of the 200-member Yamanashi delegation, these initiatives offer direct access to cutting-edge research in green hydrogen and semiconductors, global industry exposure, cultural immersion, and enhanced workforce mobility, empowering students to build high-paying international careers.

Galgotias University provides students with access to several facilities beyond normal class hours. The library is open from 8 AM to 8 PM on working days and 9 AM to 5 PM on Sundays, and during examinations its hours are extended up to midnight. Hostel students also have a dedicated reading hall open from 6 PM to 6 AM

For technology students, the university has computer labs, central computing facilities, high-performance computing facilities and 100+ laboratories across different disciplines. The university also states that campus internet access is available round the clock. However, I wouldn't assume that&n

Professors at Galgotias University are generally supportive when students want to explore projects beyond the regular syllabus. If you have an idea and approach a professor with some preparation, they can help you improve the concept, choose the right technology and guide you through the project. Many students also get encouragement to participate in hackathons, technical events and practical activities where they can try their ideas. The support may differ from one professor to another, but being proactive usually helps. I feel this is useful because you are not limited to textbook topics and can experiment with things that actually i

From what I've seen, Galgotias University provides students with opportunities to participate in hackathons, coding competitions and other technical activities. The opportunities are there, but students who actively look for them and participate regularly can benefit the most.

I think the best way is to keep building outside class—small projects, coding challenges, hackathons, or even experimenting with technologies like iOS development. At Galgotias University, students can also learn a lot by working with peers and taking part in technical activities.

Yes, it can help. The Accenture LearnVantage partnership is designed to provide industry-aligned learning, practical projects, expert sessions, emerging-technology training, internships, and career-readiness support. However, it should be seen as a placement advantage rather than a placement guarantee.

Students seem generally positive about the new Accenture LearnVantage collaboration. Many see it as a good opportunity for practical learning, industry exposure, projects, and skill development. Since the collaboration is new, students are also waiting to see how much hands-on experience it provides in practice.

Yes. Galgotias University students can absolutely use their app development skills for Smart India Hackathon projects. The Software Edition specifically focuses on digital product development, and programming skills are a key requirement.

Students can build Android/iOS apps, web platforms, AI-powered applications, APIs and other software solutions for the given problem statements.

So if you're a Flutter, React Native, Android or full-stack developer at Galgotias, SIH is a very relevant platform to showcase those skills.

I think Apple's student innovation initiatives at Galgotias University are a strong opportunity, especially for students interested in app development and product building. The iOS Development Centre gives students access to 100 iMacs, Apple technologies, hands-on training, mentorship, and practical app development. What makes it more interesting is that students are not limited to classroom projects—Galgotias reports 32 student-built apps launched on the App Store. The 2026 Swift Student Challenge also had 18 Galgotias students among Apple's 350 global winners, showing that students can compete internationally. Overall, it seems lik
