Yes, you can do it. As per UGC guidelines, a student pursuing a degree programme under regular mode may be
allowed to pursue a maximum of one certificate/diploma/advanced diploma/PG diploma programme simultaneously either in regular or open and distance mode in the same university or from other institutions.

If you are totally interested in game design, you have gaming colleges in Bangalore and Hyderabad. If not animation doesn't cope with games , animation is totally different compare with game design.

There is a college named Backstagepass institute of gaming and technology, they offer Game Art and Design & Game Development, Course of 4 years each. And the fee structure is INR 1.4 lakhs per year in both of the courses. If you want a future in gaming, this is the best one as far as I came across.

Hi, Based on your qualification, you can opt for Diploma/Degree in game designer/developer. It needs pre-requirements based on your choice of specialisation. If you are a +2 student, you can choose a long term Degree programme from various popular universities.
