- Accepted - means form is accepted by authorities
- Defect status - has discrepancies in form and needs to be corrected within given time
- Status after rectification - application status after submitting rectification
- Rejected - means GATE form is rejected for valid reasons

- Then click on application form link

- Click on "forgot enrollment ID"
- Give OTP that is received on your mobile number

Yes, GATE 2026 application form correction window has started. The last date to edit is November 10 (extended). During the correction facility, candidates will be able to change a few particulars, such as exam city, category, exam centre, etc. This year, there is a hike of INR 100 for gender, category, and PwD change.

The last date to register for GATE 2026 without late fees have been revised from September 28 to October 6. The GATE candidate login 2026 link is now activated for the application form process. Candidates who want to apply must visit the GATE's official website and register to receive an enrollment ID and password and apply within the mentioned dates.

While filling the GATE application form 2026, candidates have to enter their personal, communication, educational qualification, and documents (photo, signature and ID proof). Reserved category had to submit their caste certificate and PwD applicants had to submit their disability certificate.
