Hello dear,
As you have ample time for GATE, so read the reference books for the subjects covered in GATE. Refer 2-3 books for a subjects. Download previous year papers and mark the kind of questions are generally asked in paper. This will show you mirror how much you are preparing for that particular subject. And, important thing have a solid command on 5-6 subjects (Digital electronics, Analog, NAS, Signals & systems, Control system etc.).

Yes, you can appear in GATE exam. Just go through the syllabus of computer Science GATE exam and select the subjects for revision which you have already studied in B.Sc. Aptitude and Engineering maths will also have a great role. So first go through the syllabus once. All d best.

Good, but keep in mind that you are knowing what GATE is in depth. So that, you can calculate the effort. I am assuming that you know the syllabus. Just go through some online resources to know about potential subjects. I mean the topics which has a more chance of repetition. Try to analyze the syllabus. You can get support from notes of reputed institutions. Best of luck.

Mainly, all the IITs and PSUs conducts the GD and PI for the electrical engineering, as this is the only way to get to know about the candidate and his/her confidence level.

There are many colleges with the Indian GATE scores accepting universities but the stipend you will get is through the Indian government only, as there are very less colleges with the MoU with the Singapore government.

GATE 2018 cut-off score:
The minimum score that candidates need to secure in order to qualify the entrance test. The cut-off score for life science-XL (applicable for botany) in your category is 19.9.

There are some subjects from each semester for the GATE. If you are not going for any coaching then you can adjust your preparation time and subjects accordingly but if you are taking coaching then you would face that they have their own pattern of syllabus and your college has different.
