According to the official GCET exam pattern, each section has been allotted a specific duration within with the candidates will have to complete attempting the questions. Each section (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) have been allotted 120 minutes i.e, 2 hours. The candidates will have to attempt 75 objective multiple-choice questions in each section within the duration allotted by the authorities. No extra time will be provided to the candidates. The candidates will have to attempt as many questions as they can so that they have a higher chance of securing the required marks.

The authorities will conduct GCET in English language. No other language will be used to prepare the question paper of GCET. Candidates are advised to prepare themselves to attempt the examination is the official medium as prescribed by the authorities. In case of any problems during the examination, the candidates are requested to seek assistance from the invigilators present in the exam centre. Since the examination is an OMR-based test, the candidates will have to read the question and mark the correct answer out of the available options.

The authorities have not yet announced the class commencement date for GCET/Goa BE admission 2025 qualified candidates. No, the GCET/Goa BE admission application fee is not less for the reserved categories. All candidates, irrespective of their category will have to pay INR 1800 as the fee to fill out and submit the GCET/Goa BE admission application form. The application fee has to be paid offline at the centres.
