A Bachelor of Science B.Sc. In genetics is an undergraduate degree. It basically covers in-depth information on genetics. The eligibility criteria to pursue this course is to have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 in Physics Chemistry Biology or Biotechnology and English taken together. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conducts the BHU Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) every year for shortlisting the students for admission to 2 years Master of Science (M.Sc Agriculture) programme. Yes you can take admission as an open mode of study. Students who are not interested in pursuing a regular Master of Science M.Sc. Degree, they can opt to pursue the course as a correspondence or distance programme. There are various colleges which offer distance/correspondence M.Sc. Degree in India.
