Candidates who have completed a two-year pre-university course (plus two) from the Karnataka state board or its equivalent from other states/boards with 40% or equivalent CGPA are eligible for admission into this course. The candidate should have studied Biology / Chemistry as one of the subjects.
Admission will be based on the score secured in the qualifying exam and their performance in counselling.
Selected applicants in the interview will be informed about the reporting date on the day of counseling. Admission formalities of submitting all available original documents and fees for the first year must be completed by the applicant on or before the reporting date. Otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.

The candidates must have studied Chemistry as one of the optional subjects in part-II at B.Sc. Level with a minimum of 30 credits, one of the following subjects must have also been studied as options in part-II at B.Sc. Level: Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the B.Sc. Level is also eligible. ( or at least four papers of 100 marks each). .
