GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam Eligibility

GITAM Visakhapatnam extends scholarships to the BCom programme students who appea for the GAT, with fee concessions up to 100%.  The institution has mainly five scholarship slabs, presented in the form of 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and 15% tuition and fee waivers. However, the schemes such as Employee Children Scholarships (60%, 40% and 20% waivers), Loyalty Scholarships (10% waiver) and Sports Scholarships offer rather an unconventional amount of fee waivers. The eligibility criteria varies according to the scholarships for which candidates apply for. Given below is the list of GITAM BCom scholarships eligibility criteria:

• Merit Scholarship for Students who clear GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 
• Need-based Scholarships for students whose parents' annual income falls in particular income slab (Less than INR 12 LPA for Tier one and Less than INR 8 LPA for tier two)
• Scholarships for Employee Children of GITAM employees
• Loyalty Scholarship for an alumni returning to do higher studies/ children of alumni/ siblings studying at the same time or children of retired employees of GITAM
