Candidates can carry anyone of the following document along with the admit card - Passport / Driving License / EC voter ID card / IT PAN card / School or College photo bearing ID card / Aadhar Card. The admit card is a mandatory document to be taken to the exam centre.

GAT PGT admit card is available in online mode only. The admit card will not be send by post, it will be available only on the official website. The candidates can enter the login credentials and download the admit card.

GITAM GAT admit card can be downloaded by the eligible candidates only. The candidates who have submitted the application form successfully can download the admit card. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website by providing the login credentials.

The maximum mark of GAT PGT is 200. Each correct answer carry 2 marks and there is negative marking of one mark for each incorrect response.

A total of 100 questions are asked in GAT PGT exam. Candidates can check section-wise distribution of marks below -

  • Quantitative aptitude - 40 questions
  • Reasoning and verbal ability - 25 questions 
  • English - 10 questions

Total time to attempt GAT PGT questions is two hours.

In GAT PGT for each correct answer, students will get 2 marks while for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. Since there is negative marking the candidates must be careful while answering. They should read and understand the question thoroughly and then answer it.

Yes, candidates should study all the topics indicated in the syllabus. And they can refer to the previous years' question papers to know about the trending topics. If is better to learn all the topics included in the syllabus to know the answer for all the questions.
