If we compare the BA courses offered by GITAM Vizag, Andhra University and Acharya Nagarjuna University we will see that Acharya Nagarjuna University offers the most amount of BA courses out of the three universities. Acharya Nagarjuna University offers 145 BA courses which is more than the courses offered by GITAM Vishakhapatnam and Andhra University, cumulatively. This might be a result of Acharya Nagarjuna University having more affiliated colleges.

GITAM Vishakhapatnam has not released its data for BA placements. According to the data available for university placements in 2024, The top recruiters in GITAM Vishakhapatnam placements in 2024 included Accenture, LG, Cognizant, Amazon, Dell, HCL, ICICI Bank, Infosys, etc. The highest package offered during GITAM placements in 2024 stood at INR 46.50 LPA. Further, the participating recruiters offered over 3,500 job offers to various courses of the 2024 batch.

Yes, GITAM Vishakhapatnam offers its BA programme in distance learning mode. Through Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) the university provides distance learning seats for its BA programme. Candidates can make use of the distance learning mode if they are currently working and cannot commit certain hours to the programme. The programme is usually offered in full-time offline mode.

Yes, there is a registration fee for BA at GITAM Vizag. At the time of admission, candidates have to pay a registration fee of INR 1,200. This registration fee is different from the registration fee candidates have to pay at the time of CUET registration. Candidates need to pay the registration fee along with some amount of the tuition fee to confirm their admission at the university.

Yes, CUET exams are necessary if candidates want to take admission in the GITAM Vishakhapatnam BA programme as the selection is based only on the basis of CUET exam score. The university does not consider or conduct any other exam for BA admission in the university. Also, candidates have to make sure they get a minimum of 60% aggregate score in their Class 12 exams to be eligible for admission.

The CUET exam date has not been released. If we look at last year's date, the exam will mostly take place in mid-March of 2026. Check the official website for more information.

CUET registrations will mostly start durnig the last week of February till April 2026. Register within this time frame to appear for admissions in 2026.

Yes, candidates can take admission in GITAM Vishakhapatnam BA without CUET. To take admission into the programme, they would have to give the other entrance exam GITAM GAT. Admission into the programme take place through both the CUET and GITAM GAT entrance exam and candidates can appear for both the exams to get a valid score and secure admission into the programme.
