To be eligible to pursue MCA at GITAM, applicants are required to have scored at least 50% in BCA/bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering. A relaxation of 5% in the eligibility requirement is given to the candidates belonging to the resereved categories. Hence, candidates belonging to reserved categories with a minimum of 45% in BCA/bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering are eligible to apply for the programme. To be eligible to pursue MSc at GITAM, applicants are required to have scored at least 50% in bachelor's degree in relevant discipline. Hence, candidates scoring less than 60%, but over 50% are eligible to apply for the programme. However, meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission to the institute's MSc programme. MSc admission at GITAM are entrance-based. The seats are allotted to the candidates with a valid score in the accepted entrance exam.
