The BTech seats at GITAM SOT are alloted to those candidates who manage to clear the Personal Interview round of the GITAM SOT admission committee. The candidates who clear the appropriate entrance exam with an appropriate rank are called for the aforementioned personal interview round. The entrance exam is different depending on the chosen GITAM SOT BTech specialisation course.

The total fee for the BTech courses at GITAM SOT ranges between INR 12.21 Lacs - INR 16.47 lakh. The aforementioned fee might include other fee components such as tuition fee, hostel fee, examination fee, other fees and one-time payments. Candidates who manage to secure admissions in GITAM SOT BTech courses are required to pay a portion of the aforementioned fee as their admission fees.

There are multiple career paths that are open to students who manage to clear the GITAM BTech course. The chosen course specialisation will determine which career path is open to the student. However, the most commonly chosen careers by students of BTech at GITAM are web development, data science, software engineer and data engineer. 

GITAM SOT admission process for the BTech course requires candidates to appear for their respective entrance exams. Candidates who appear for the entrance exams will be called for the counseling rounds if they score an appropriate rank in the examination. During the counseling rounds, candidates must lock their choice for the BTech campus. Candidates who clear the counseling rounds will be given admissions after they clear the PI round at GITAM SOT for the chosen BTech course admission.
