Yes, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science And Technology accepts CAT score for MBA admission. The university considers the CAT result for providing admission. GJUST also conducts an entrance test for candidates who have not appeared for CAT exam. GJUST Entrance Test comprises 100 questions of one mark each. GJUST admission to BA (Hons) course is based on an entrance exam conducted by the university. The university will announce the entrance test result on the official website of the university. After the release of the result, GJUST releases a merit list announcing the names of shortlisted candidates. Further, a counselling round is conducted for document verification and final selection. No, GJUST admission is entirely merit-based for B.Ed course. In case, a candidate has also passed the master’s degree examination after the bachelor’s degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained either in UG or PG degree will be taken into consideration while determining the merit. However, if two or more candidates have obtained equal marks, the following procedure will be used for the preparation of their merit.
- Candidate senior in age will be given first preference
- If tie still persists, then marks obtained in Class 12 will be considered
- If tie still persists, then marks in Class 10 will be considered to break the tie
