GLA University BSc admissions are subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria. For each specialisation, the eligibility conditions vary. Listed below are the specialisation-wise eligibility conditions to be met by the applicants’:
- Biotech- Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Maths/Biotechnology with at least 50% aggregate
- Physics- Class 12 with Physics with at least 50% aggregate
- Chemistry- Passed Class 12 with Chemistry with a minimum of 50% aggregate
- Agriculture- Passed Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture or a two-year Diploma in Agriculture with at least 50% aggregate.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Institute of Engineering and Technology GLA University is to pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Computer Science with at least 50% marks (45% for ST\SC) and 50% marks overall. As it is compulsory for the students to follow these rules and regulations before becoming a part of the college.

IBM GLA University offers two-years BBA programmes in various specialisations at UG level. To be eligible for this course, candidates must have minimum 50-60% aggregate in Class 12. BBA admission is granted on the basis of GLAET which is conducted by IBM GLA University.

- General & OBC (economically weak): The scholarship is offered to students whose parents' income is less than INR 2 Lakh
- SC/ST Candidates: The scholarship is offered to students whose parents' income is less than INR 2 Lakh

Candidates seeking admission to the BCom programme must meet the minimum BCom eligibility criteria set up by IBM GLA University. For admission to the MBA programme at GLA University, candidates must complete a UG degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Also, candidates based on valid scores in CAT/ MAT/ UPSEE/ GLAET will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

To fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for MCA, students have to pass Class 12 with Mathematics as on of the main subject along with graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the respective subjects. GLA University offers four-year courses of BTech and BTech (Hons). For admission to BTech course at GLA University, the minimum eligibility is to pass Class 12 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Computer Science with an aggregate of 50% (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) in the above subjects taken together and 50% aggregate overall. Apart from this, to get admission to BTech (Hons), students need to pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects along with Chemistry/ Computer Science as additional subjects with a minimum of 65% aggregate and 70% aggregate as overall.
