First, you have to check the website of the respective university and after that, you have to check whether it take admission via JEE Mains or it conducts its own entrance exam. After knowing all this, you can prepare yourself.

GLA is a deemed university and KIET is a college affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow. Both the institutes are good in terms of ranking. You can choose the one in which you can get the desired branch.

You may fill the form after January when they will be available. They can be filled online on the GLAU's official website http://glauniversity.in/EduwareHome/Home.aspx#. The forms are always filled online and the exam too takes place online . The exam takes place in the month of February to April and even beyond if their are seats available .
The exam is pretty simple and requires just basic knowledge of the subject. You may choose your spot of time as per your preference on any day. I hope that the answer was helpful. Best of luck!!
